Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka, will make his return inside the UFC octagon for the first time at UFC 300 following his loss against Alex Pereira back in UFC 295. Prochazka will take on fellow European, Aleksander Rakic, at the prelims of the UFC 300 card which seems to have annoyed the fight fans given the placement of the fight.

Jiri has accomplished quite a lot in the sport of MMA and has even managed to get his hand on the UFC gold. Having a new fighter like Bo Nickal be placed over the former champ felt like a disrespectful move by Dana White and the UFC to many fans. However, Prochazka would show class when asked about how he felt about his placement on the card.
