Anthony Smith feels something is off with Conor McGregor
On Michael Bisping Podcast, Anthony Smith talked about Conor McGregor making headlines. Specifically, about McGregor‘s muscle gain and his USADA situation. He stated, “It bothers the f**k out of me. Like, he pulled himself out of the USADA pool. There’s only one reason you’d do that.” Smith further added, “He is looking jacked as s**t. We keep seeing videos of him flexing in front of mirrors and screaming and he’s huge. He healed really fast. Like, really.”

Anthony Smith further shared some examples of fighters who faced similar injuries and are still struggling, “I talked to Weidman today. He’s still having struggles. He’s still struggling to get back. Anderson took a long time. Corey Hill took a long time. Like, anybody who’s broken their leg has taken a long time. And he’s, like, seemingly pretty healed up. So, it just bugs me that he gets to jump out of the pool, juice up on whatever he’s juiced on, and then just jump back in the pool and no one’s going to say s**t about it? I don’t know. It’s weird. It bothers me.” Smith concluded, suggesting that ‘The Notorious’ may possibly be using some kind of performance-enhancing assistance.

This isn’t the first time that Anthony Smith talked criticized the Irishman. During one of his interviews with LowKickMMA, Smith talked about how there has always been rivalry in the UFC, but no one has crossed the line the way Conor McGregor did. Speaking about the insulting remarks ‘The Notorious’ made on Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s family and religion, Smith recollected his own conflicts with Luke Rockhold and Jon Jones.
“Me and Luke Rockhold have gone back-and-forth several times and neither one of us has ever attacked each other personally. Even Jon (Jones) and I. I mean, it got a little personal, but it hasn’t really crossed over to like too much.” Smith further emphasized how McGregor knows no boundary takes things too far. “With Conor, it’s just… it’s too far, it’s way too far. Take all of this fighting bulls**t out of the picture, like, people get shot for a lot less than that, just walking down the street, I don’t know.”
