The UFC 265 pre-fight press conference went down in Houston, Texas. While Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane fight in the main event, Julianna Pena was supposed to take on Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight title in the co-main event of the pay-per-view. However, as ‘The Lioness’ tested positive for COVID, the fight had to be called off.

When? I heard December. Is that true?” Pena asked about a potential timeline of the fight being re-booked. “I don’t know if that’s true or not. We’ll see how this plays out. Soon. As soon as we can make it, we’ll make it. Alright? Thank you. Good to see ya,” White reaffirmed the bantamweight contender.
