Dana White has certain obsessions. His health, gambling in Las Vegas, a massive shoe collection, and, perhaps, the crown jewel of the lot, his million-dollar sports card collection. Recently, Jed I. Goodman shared a video of White on X, where he was seen discussing his attempt to buy a Shohei Ohtani baseball card, a 1-of-1 card, for $4 million. He also mentioned that the person selling the card wanted $10 million, along with a car, after Ohtani won the World Series twice in a row.

“I was actually, I’ve been trying to buy the Ohtani refractor card. We offered four million bucks for it. So we looked like we were gonna get it, and they won the World Series, the guy lost his mind, wants ten million dollars with a car now,” Dana White said. “So you were asking about baseball. I am not a big baseball fan. But I was about to pay four million bucks for the Ohtani card.”

Most of Ohtani’s cards are in his Angels uniform, but Ohtani has been achieving new heights in Dodgers Blue, winning his first-ever World Series last year. And that might be the reason why his cards as a Dodger have more value, because he just did it again in 2025 with the Dodgers! What made the card more expensive was that it was a 1-of-1 card.

Ohtani is one of the most sought-after players on earth, and his performance in his second consecutive World Series has skyrocketed the value of his cards. Back in March, the Shohei Ohtani Dynasty Black Logoman 1/1 card was sold for $1,067,500.00, making it Ohtani’s most expensive card. If White had succeeded in buying the card, it would have been a great addition to his massive card collection valued at over a million dollars.

Dana White might not be a big baseball fan, but he has a massive sports card fan for sure. He has one of the finest and most expensive sports card collections at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. White has stated that the entire value of his massive card collection exceeds $1 million. Can you guess what’s the most expensive of the lot?

Although White has many cards in his collection that are worth mentioning, there are a few that just can’t be ignored. As per White, his PSA 10 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card is valued at $400,000. However, according to Card Ladder, the actual value of the card is worth $204,000, as a raw copy of the same card was sold at this value.

Another notable mention in White’s collection is Jordan’s signed copy encased in a PSA slab with a grade of 9. According to White, it’s worth $5 million, but its actual value is $2.5M, as it was sold through Joopiter at the same value. Plus, he has a 2000 Bowman Chrome Refractor rookie card of Tom Brady, and there are only 7 of these cards on the planet. White has stated that it’s worth $336,000 in the market, and he is right about the ballpark.

Apart from gambling, Dana White is really passionate about card collection, and that’s why he was ready to pay such a massive price for the 1/1 Shohei Ohtani baseball card. Although it didn’t make it to White’s collection, he will keep adding more rare and priced pieces to his collection in the future for sure
