Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka should undergo more USADA tests, according to Daniel Cormier. The statement sounds absurd, given Prochazka’s recent revelation that the agency tested him around 65 times in 2022. However, Cormier’s argument has another logic to support it.

In a recent interview, the former champion claimed that USADA visits were less frequent following his vacating the title. He also mentioned that he could be back sooner than predicted. While Prochazka was grateful, the same did not sit well with former champion Daniel Cormier.

Cormier admitted it was crazy for USADA to test someone 65 times. However, he believed it was because “either he’s super clean or they’re trying to catch him dirty.” The 43-year-old continued, “I’m saying test him more when he’s not the champion when he’s not competing. Because guys are more inclined to cheat when they’re away from the spotlight.”

Cormier expressed his frustration with the testing agency going easy on Prochazka after he vacated the title, after testing him an insane number of times in 2022.

“He said they’re testing me less, so thank USADA for not showing up as much. I think that’s a problem,” the former Olympic wrestler said.

What Cormier said about Jon Jones
While discussing Prochazka, Cormier mentioned Jones, who has a history of positive PED tests. The former two-weight champion pointed out the irony in Jones having fewer tests than Prochazka, who never tested positive.
