UFC color commentator Joe Rogan is one of the most popular individuals associated with combat sports. Rogan is not only a journalist, but he is also a standup comedian, an MMA enthusiast, a podcast host, and an actor.

In an interview, Joe Rogan was asked if he could take YouTube personality turned boxer, Jake Paul, down in a bout. To that, he rationally responded, “he’d probably f*ck me up. He’s a good boxer, he’s a good boxer.”

Rogan was humble about his abilities and kept his age and body in mind while answering these questions.

“When I was a younger man, and I had good knees, I could be kickboxing people. But I could barely get through a workout without being in pain now. There’s a reality of knees and backs,” said Rogan on the thought of a kickboxing bout against Jake Paul.

Rogan was a martial artist in his younger days and also had a couple of fights as well. However, because of a fear of injuries, he didn’t take that career path. Instead, he pursued it recreationally and for self-defense, but not as a profession.

In the podcast, Joe Rogan also gave credit to Jake Paul’s elder brother, Logan Paul. Logan is also into professional fighting. In fact, he had his first boxing match before Jake Paul took up the career path. Logan also took on Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight but lost the bought against the boxing icon.

Rogan praised Paul on his wrestling ability, judging from a clip he had played on his show. He said,” We played a video of his brother (Logan Paul) wrestling Paulo Costa. His brother is f*cking legit. He’s a legit athlete… Listen, man, you got to give credit where credit’s due. Yeah, I know those guys like to troll. But Jake and his brother are both legitimate tough guys. They’re tough.”
