Colby Covington has suddenly found his way to the headlines after his appearance at the UFC 286 weigh-ins as a backup for the main event. Furthermore, the announcement that he was going to be the next in line for the welterweight title shot has put him ahead in the fame game. Nevertheless, ‘Chaos’ has been going against Belal Muhammad and Jon Anik lately. In fact, he sent death threats to Anik.

In a couple of recent interviews, Covington went after Muhammad, seemingly disappointed with his now-deleted tweet. On top of that, after the UFC commentator, Anik, came to rescue Muhammad, ‘Chaos’ fired shots at him for doing so. However, the heat is far from being cooled down. Recently, ‘Remember the Name’ took to Twitter and shared a picture of a beaten-up Covington, making the fans imagine a collision of the fighter with Anik. Surprisingly, Jake Shields also joined in making fun of ‘Chaos’ in the comments section.

After Covington revealed his beliefs that Muhammad should be fined and kicked out of the UFC, the welterweight contender took arms against ‘Chaos’ and shared a post on Twitter. The post showed a picture of the former welterweight champion bathed in blood. 

As the caption, Muhammad wrote, “Colby after running into Jon Anik at La fitness.” It was apparently a take in defense of Anik. However, Shields also chimed in for a shot against ‘Chaos’. He wrote, “I hear he’s pressing charges and suing.”

Shields seemingly pointed at the altercation Covington had with Jorge Masvidal, in Miami Beach, following which ‘Chaos’ sought legal assistance against Masvidal. Undoubtedly, this garnered a lot of attention from the world of MMA.

In response to Shields’ comment, a fan asked which MMA fighters went ahead and sued people. Shields replied with two names, Covington and Mike Jackson.

Covington attacks Jon Anik for supporting Muhammad

The entire UFC world was taken aback after ‘Chaos’ was declared as the one who would get the next chance at the Welterweight title. However, Muhammad made the grave mistake of putting forth an alleged racist comment. Undoubtedly, Welterweight #2 took off his anger against Muhammad. 

Covington threatened the UFC commentator after he showed support for Muhammad. He said, “So you wanted to lick my fricking b***s in London, Oh Colby, this, this, this, then you want to go back behind the stage and cheerlead for a racist. So, he associates with racism in Belal Muhammad. And you know, Jon Anik, dude, I don’t want your kids to grow up without a dad. Just realize you live in Boca, I live in Miami, motherf***er. You’re not too far from me so you better shut your f**king mouth. You poked the bear, now you get the bear, it comes after you.”
