After making a massive noise with a knockout win in his debut, UFC lightweight, Paddy Pimblett has signed with Barstool Sports as their brand ambassador and content creator.

Paddy, in a tweet, said,I have signed with Barstool Sports, people. I want to thank David Portnoy & Graham Boylan who put this deal together and for making it a very workable partnership for both sides. Barstool Sports know who the boy is.”

UFC commentator Jon Anik shared Paddy Pimblett’s tweet as well.

Paddy made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 191 against Luigi Vendramini. Former Cage Warriors’ two-division champion entered the octagon with a 16-3 record. Everyone was expecting ‘The Baddy’ to come in and dominate the opponent, but it almost went the other way after Luigi caught Paddy with a left hook early in the first round. However, ‘The Baddy’ absorbed the early onslaught and finished the fight late in the first round via a knockout.

Since the knockout win, Paddy’s popularity has gone through the roof. His Instagram followers went up by almost 80,000 after the win. Paddy has signed with Barstool Sports as their brand ambassador and content creator, taking advantage of the popularity. Barstool Sports is a media company that specializes in satirical coverage of sports and pop culture.

What next for Paddy Pimblett?

Since his impressive UFC debut, the Scouser has become a fan favorite. The people want to see him fight more, and he looks like someone who will be good for business in the future. Being a rising star in the UFC’s lightweight division, many fellow fighters will be looking to get a piece of Pimblett.

Regarding his next fight, ‘The Baddy,’ on his Instagram, announced he had signed the contract for his next bout. After his win against Joe Solecki at UFC Fight Night 193, Jared Gordon, a fellow lightweight, called out Paddy. The Scouser was quick to respond to the callout and was open to the fight. It is not yet known whether Pimblett will fight Gordan next or someone else. The date is also yet to be announced. However, fans can expect the announcement to happen soon.
