UFC legend and commentator Michael Bisping has dropped details on a fight that promises to be one of the most mouthwatering clashes of 2023. In an Instagram story, Bisping posted about the trilogy fight between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards. Both fighters are 1-1 against each other and the third fight will be a decisive one. Many fans are pumped to see if Edwards can defend his title against Usman.

Michael Bisping seems to be confirming that the two fighters will be meeting in the octagon again. The speculated date is 18th March 2023. The fight was brewing up for a while now, and both fighters had indicated a possibility in March. It seems like stars are aligning and two ferocious fighters with history will face each other again.

Kamaru Usman tasted First Blood

Kamaru Usman had taken the first fight between the two fighters that happened at UFC at Fox 17. That fight was tipped as a fight between a striker and a grappler. Kamaru Usman came out on top with a win by decision. The fighters were not so well known then, but gradually moved up in their careers.

While it seemed that Usman was going to emerge victorious again, looking at the initial rounds. Leon’Rocky’ Edwards did something that left everyone stunned in the Vivint Arena. In the final minutes of the 5th Round, Leon Edwards landed a left kick on Usman’s head that dropped him cold. UFC commentator Joe Rogan had the perfect reaction to the kick, and he called the play the best knockout by a left kick ever. Edwards took the belt amidst the arena chanting his name ‘Rocky’.
