Dana White‘s reach extends far beyond the Octagon — into communities where real change begins. Just last month, he joined forces with BMF champion Max Holloway. Together, they toured new housing built from a $1.2 million UFC donation for survivors, celebrating both resilience and the island’s enduring love for MMA. The gesture struck a chord across the fight community, revealing a rare, human layer beneath White’s battle-hardened image. And now, the UFC is once again answering the call of humanity.

UFC highlights Dominick Cruz’s latest charitable efforts
The UFC recently took to X to share an update on its latest collaboration with the Miracle Hope Foundation for the “Hope for Our Heroes” campaign. The initiative provides veterans and first responders an opportunity to receive fully funded regenerative stem cell treatment, offering a chance at renewed health and recovery. UFC legend Dominick Cruz took to Instagram to highlight the campaign: “I’ve experienced what regenerative stem cell treatment can actually do. It really did change my life and now we want to offer that same healing to one of our heroes. That’s why I’ve partnered with Miracle Hope Foundation and CPI CPI Stem Cells for the Hope for Our Heroes campaign.”
“We’re giving one deserving veteran or first responder a fully funded week of regenerative stem cell treatment at CPI in Tijuana, Mexico. Here’s how it works. Nominate a veteran or a first responder living with pain by visiting miraclehopefoundation.org/hope-for-heroes. Then we want to rally votes for them from your community. The hero with the most votes will receive the full healing experience. Their story will help inspire a movement of hope and recovery.”

Cruz isn’t the only UFC star stepping up to make a difference. Welterweight standout Max Griffin recently encouraged fans to get involved, writing a week ago: “Through October 12th, you can nominate a hero you know who’s battling chronic pain.”
Dana White’s support for veterans is hardly a new chapter in his story—it’s more of a recurring theme. On Veterans Day last year, the UFC CEO spotlighted a California-based financial investment firm offering free financial consultations to veterans, reinforcing his commitment to those who’ve served.

While the latest initiative is a collaborative effort, it’s built on years of consistent philanthropy. Nearly four years ago, the UFC formalized its charitable mission by launching The UFC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves as the organization’s beating heart of goodwill.
Dana White gives back on Veterans Day in 2023
UFC 295 may have left fans disappointed, missing Jon Jones’ highly anticipated first title defense against Stipe Miocic, but the night still delivered fireworks. Alex Pereira stormed the Octagon to claim the UFC light heavyweight belt, dominating former champion Jiří Procházka with authority. Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall bulldozed through Sergei Pavlovich to snag the interim heavyweight title. Madison Square Garden roared that Veterans Day in November 2023, racking up a live gate of $12,432,563 and etching another epic night in UFC history.
However, the action did not stay in the cage. Behind the scenes, Dana White and the UFC were quietly making an impact for a greater cause. The promotion raised over $80,000 in partnership with organizations like Anthem Snacks. The action may have ended in the Octagon, but the impact carried far beyond it. Away from the bright lights and roaring crowds, Dana White and the UFC were quietly driving change for a greater purpose. Teaming up with partners like Anthem Snacks, the promotion helped raise more than $80,000 for the Special Forces Charitable Trust.

The UFC’s off-the-canvas compassion didn’t go unnoticed. SFCT Operations & Program Director Cameron Davis said, “Thank you to UFC and the UFC Foundation for their partnership. Through our collaboration, we have not only raised awareness for the Special Forces Charitable Trust, but also made a significant contribution that will profoundly impact the lives of Green Berets and their families.”
Beyond the Octagon, the UFC is increasingly expanding its footprint through social initiatives, blending combat sports with meaningful community impact. As the promotion cements its status as an MMA powerhouse, it raises a question for fans and observers alike: Is the UFC truly doing justice with its philanthropic efforts? Share your thoughts below.
