He has starred in many Hollywood movies and made a few country songs. Cerrone recently released a new song with Brantley Gilbert. However, the song didn’t do the magic that it was intended to perform.

Cerrone‘s new song was intended as a laughingstock. It was, in fact, recorded for the 2022 MMA Awards. However, when it landed on Twitter, the fans displayed displeasure in the comments section.

The 36-17-0 record holder, Donald Cerrone, recently released a song called, ‘Lil’ Cowboy’s Up’. Although the original song, ‘Bottoms Up’, created by Brantley Gilbert, became a popular country song; this one, however, was intended as a joke for the MMA Awards.

In the description, ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone wrote, “This was recorded as a gag for the 2022 MMA Awards, they asked us to just shoot it on a green screen and keep it simple… so we did our thing and I just acted like a knucklehead.”

Fans, however, were not in favor of the ‘Cowboy’. @RealPressMMA and @MMARoasted recently shared the music video on Twitter. They questioned in the caption whether ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone was in fact the best country singer alive. Without a doubt, the fans took over the comments section and displayed their dislike for the song. Furthermore, they were in complete denial that ‘Cowboy’ was a good singer.

The ‘Notorious’ and the ‘Cowboy’ landed against each other in the main event of UFC 246 PPV, back in 2020. Although the match was highly hyped up, it didn’t go beyond 40 seconds. However, Cerrone got knocked out; with one of McGregor’s powerful kicks.

The fight, in fact, had the highest-selling pay-per-view one of that year. Undeniably, this made the ‘Mystic Mac’ extremely happy. He took to Twitter and congratulated his opponent. Furthermore, he credited Cerrone for being the perfect partner.

He wrote, “Congrats to the @ufc on a well fought 2020! The only sporting company on the planet to come through the entire year! Incredible! I am honoured to secure their highest PPV of the year with McGregor Vs Cerrone. Congrats Donald, and also on his double submission win last night. #No1.”
