Details of the incident have surfaced online since. Many have been disappointed by the way the events have played out. Fans were waiting for Jones to return to the Octagon sooner rather than later. He is out of action since his UFC 247 win over Dominick Reyes. But, now the timeline of his Octagon return might be in jeopardy as well.

His fans were certainly very anguished by the latest developments. They were hoping to see him back in action soon. But many believe that the chances of seeing him fighting ever again are slim to none. Also, many pointed out the fact that how hard it is to actually be a fan of Jones.

Will fans ever see Jon Jones fighting again?

As mentioned earlier, Jones hasn’t competed in the UFC for a while. He has been training to put on some size on his frame as he looks to move up to the heavyweight division. After a decade of dominance at 205 lbs, Jones believed securing heavyweight glory would have solidified his status as the MMA G.O.A.T.

But the recent incidents might put those plans on hold. How the UFC reacts to it, remains to be seen. It’s unfortunate for the fans to see perhaps the greatest fighter of all time get in trouble time and again.

While he has faced criticism from fellow fighters and UFC fans, some have pointed out how disheartened they were at the fighter’s behavior. There is no doubt everyone will keep a close eye on how things unfold in the near future regarding the incident.
