UFC featherweight Chase Hooper announced some massive news with regards to his personal life on his latest social media post. The 10-1 fighter came out and shared the news with fans that he was newly engaged to his girlfriend. Hooper popped the question after being in a three-year-long relationship and will be looking forward to the new chapter.

The fan-friendly fighter has captured the attention of fans with his affable personality that is captivating. Unlike other fighters, Chase Hooper breaks the ‘machismo-fueled’ stereotype in exchange for something more subtle. This has added a new dimension to his personality, and fans have definitely taken to him.

Chase Hooper: An Overview

The 21-year-old fighter from Washington is coming off a significant win in his last contest over Peter Barrett. The victory came late in the third round, after he was being dominated by Barrett in the first two rounds. Chiefly, some fans feel like the wind can be hailed as the ‘Comeback of the Year’ and in many respects, it might be.

Moreover, Hooper secured a Heel-hook to finish off Barrett that came right off an Imanari roll. He had tried that move earlier on in the contest; however, it didn’t work out then. Moreover, the victory was especially clutch when considering that he looked out of his depth with Barrett.

Commentators Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier were extremely critical of his performance up to that point. Furthermore, Rogan went so far as to suggest a move back to the regional scene given the way Hooper’s striking looked in the beginning. The win was absolutely critical in solidifying his position as a UFC caliber fighter.

However, there’s no denying that Chase Hooper has some work to do if he is to climb the ladder at 145-pounds. The featherweight division is a shark tank of dangerous and elite fighters with well-rounded games.

It will take a considerable amount of striking improvement if Hooper is to move up the rank of the weight class. The divisional champion Alexander Volkanovski has set an exceedingly high standard, and he’s sure to face only the very best that the division has to offer.
