Cody Durden will face Qileng Aori in a flyweight fight at UFC Fight Night 198. Both men are promising fighters and would look to bounce back from the losses in their previous fights.

Before being signed by the UFC, Cody Durden was on a seven-fight wins streak. After starting off his career with four wins in a row, he lost two back-to-back fights. However, he bounced back from the losses in the best way possible. His win streak got him a UFC contract, and he faced Chris Gutierrez in his debut fight. The fight ended in a draw. He entered the octagon the second time to face Jimmy Flick, a fight that he ended up losing. He will look to get back to winning ways against Aori.

He likes to get after his opponents and keep the pressure on them throughout the fight. ‘Mongolian Murderer’ was on a six-fight win streak before being signed by the UFC. However, he lost on his promotional debut to Jeff Molina in a fight that won him the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus.

UFC Fight Night 198: Cody Durden vs. Qileng Aori

Cody Durden is an excellent wrestler and has a solid stand-up game. He’s 11-3 in his career, with 5 wins coming by knockout and 5 via submissions. Durden can set up takedowns by taking away his legs with his leg kicks. However, he will have a two-inch reach disadvantage going into the fight.

‘Mongolian Murderer’ put up an impressive performance in his last. Even though he came up short, he landed 116 significant strikes and also got three takedowns in the fight. He landed 7.73 significant strikes per minute in the previous fight and can trouble Durden with his striking abilities. However, Durden is the best wrestler he has ever faced and just the striking might not help him in the fight.

Aori can trouble anyone on his day, but Durden just seems to be the better fighter with more tricks up his sleeve.
