The co-main event for UFC Fight Night 198 is going to be a banger. It will be a welterweight bout between Michael Chiesa and Sean Brady.

Chiesa is a UFC veteran, who signed with the promotion in 2012. He is currently the number 6 ranked welterweight and is looking to break into the top 5. ‘Maverick’ is coming off a loss in his previous fight against Vicente Luque. Both men fought at UFC 265, and he lost the fight via submission. Before the loss, Chiesa was on a four-fight win streak. A win against Brady will get him fights against some of the biggest names in the division.

Sean Brady has come out of the gates strong. The Philadelphia native is currently undefeated in his MMA career and has a 14-0 record. This will be his fifth fight in the UFC, and a win against a top fighter like Chiesa will push his rankings up and get him bigger fights. He last appeared in the octagon at UFC 259, where he beat Jake Matthews via submission.

UFC Fight Night 198: Michael Chiesa vs. Sean Brady

This is a fight between two high-level grapplers in the UFC. Despite having a higher ranking, Chiesa will enter the fight as an underdog. He has won 11 of his 18 fights via submission and would want to gain early control on the ground. He has a takedown average of 3.62 per 15 minutes and a 68 percent takedown defense. Chiesa would look to gain the upper hand early and control the fight till the end.

Sean Brady, along with being an elite grappler, has a solid striking game as well. Out of his 14 wins, four have come via submission and three by knockout. He has the striking advantage over his opponent and can hold his own on the mat. He has a 100 percent takedown defense till now in the UFC and also lands 4.72 significant strikes per minute. Even though it is an evenly matched contest, Brady has a slight advantage.
