Rafa Garcia was on a 12-fight win streak when he was signed by the UFC. However, he saw his streak come to an end when he faced Nasrat Haqparast at UFC Fight Night 187. He tried to turn his fortunes around when he met Chris Gruetzemacher. ‘Gifted’ looked like the one in control of the fight early on but faded as the fight progressed. The Mexican fighter will look to get back to winning ways against a less experienced fighter.

Natan Levy is an undefeated fighter. Having won his first five fights, he was called up to fight in the Dana White’s Contender Series on short notice. He won the fight against Shaheen Santana via an arm-triangle choke. However, he has been out of action for over a year now because of an injury.

UFC Fight Night 198: Rafa Garcia vs. Natan Levy

When the UFC signed Rafa Garcia, he was seen as one of the brightest prospects out there. However, the two losses haven’t helped his stock. Garcia still is a promising fighter, and is very skilled, and can hold his own on his feet and on the ground. He has seven wins in his career via submissions and one via a knockout. He is 12-2 right now and would look to use his superior wrestling skills to beat Levy.

Natan Levy should be confident about going into the fight. Having won three of his six fights via submission, he is ok with grappling and can give Garcia a tough time. His opponent is on a two-fight losing streak and he can capitalize on it. Levy is on a winning streak and can carry the momentum but sadly he is not as skilled as ‘Gifted.’

Garcia looks like the better fighter on the feet and on the mat. He will come out with something to prove and look for his first win in the UFC.
