After a successful UFC 265 event, the UFC is back this weekend with the UFC Vegas 34 event. The middleweight fight between Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum is set to headline this event. While most people are highly excited about the main event fight, there are various other interesting fights set for the event. One such fight is the Heavyweight clash between Parker Porter and Chase Sherman.

Porter is coming into this fight on the back of a win at UFC Vegas 25 against Josh Parisian. The heavyweight fighter fought admirably to win the fight via decision and gain his first UFC victory. Now, as the fighter prepares to enter his 3rd UFC fight, he will be looking to continue his winning ways and move up the division.

Porter has been a professional MMA fighter since 2007 and currently has a record of (17-6). The fighter is currently 36 years of age and many believe this is his last opportunity to make a name for himself in the UFC.

However, prior to this loss, the fighter had won 4 consecutive fights and was looking in great touch. ‘The Vanilla Gorilla’ has an MMA record of (15-7) and would look to get a victory this weekend and improve his standings.

Heavyweight fights are always difficult to predict and one can never surely guess how it will proceed. While the fight can turn out to be a brawl between two heavy hitters, it can easily become a boring fight between two not-so-fit big guys.

Talking about this fight, both fighters seem relatively evenly matched with one another. However, Sherman is the one with more UFC experience and also looks a bit more ready than Porter.
