UFC Fight Night: Font vs Garbrandt will see a clash between Yancy Medeiros and Damir Hadzovic go down in the lightweight division. Both fighters are currently on a losing streak. Medeiros is currently on a 3-fight skid. Hadzovic is currently on a 2-fight skid. Hence, one might argue that they are fighting for their future in the promotion.

Former Strikeforce veteran, Medeiros, has been fighting in the UFC since 2013. ‘The Kid’ has won 6 out of his 14 fights in the organization. He has fought some notable names like Rustam Khabilov, Yves Edwards, Jim Miller, Dustin Poirier, Alex Oliveira, Donald Cerrone, Gregor Gillespie, and more during his time in the UFC.

Medeiros, who has the better hands, heads into the fight with a reach advantage. Though ‘The Kid’ might be on a skid recently, his losses were against Vannata and Gillespie were competitive fights.

As for Hadzovic, his losses have come after very bad performances. Hence, Medeiros should be able to better Hadzovic with his experience and superior skills.
