Valiev looked a bit hesitant in his last fight against Martin Day. But he is a quality scrapper. His early dominance in his UFC debut is a measure of his quality as a fighter.

But Barcelos might just prove to be too tricky a puzzle for Valiev to solve. The Brazilian has some brutal leg kicks in store. He might be able to frustrate Valiev with those as the contest progresses. ‘Lucky’ might be able to sneak a round in his favor. But, eventually we expect Barcelos to claim a unanimous decision in his favor.

Final Prediction: Barcelos by unanimous decision.
