UFC Fight Night: Hall vs Strickland will see a strawweight match-up between Jinh Yu Frey and Ashley Yoder go down in the preliminary card. Both fighters last fought in March at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Muhammad. So, the timeline of the fight certainly makes sense.

Yoder lost her last fight against Angela Hill. In fact, ‘The Spider Monkey’ has won only 3 out of her 9 fights in the UFC. Both fighters are pretty evenly matched in terms of experience in their career. However, Yoder has been fighting in the UFC for a considerably longer time. But she hasn’t essentially done anything yet to convince fans that she is a top contender of the division.

Yoder’s length and reach are a problem for anybody in the division. But size alone shouldn’t be enough to dismantle Yu Frey. She has more solid fundamentals. Yu Frey should be able to put her skills on display and eventually earn a decision win in her favor.
