The UFC Fight Night: Hall vs Strickland event is all set to be one of the best UFC events of the year. While people are excited to watch the main event fight between Hall and Strickland. There are a plethora of great fights scheduled for the preliminary event as well. One such fight is the bantamweight clash between Ronnie Lawrence and Trevin Jones.

Lawrence is coming into this fight on the back of some impressive performances. The fighter is currently riding high on a 4 fight win streak and hasn’t lost a fight since his loss to Steve Garcia back in 2016. ‘The Heat’ is 29 years old and has an MMA record of 7-1-0 and is considered to be a high-class bantamweight fighter.

Lawrence’s opponent Trevin Jones is no pushover either and is currently riding high on a 3 fight win streak. ‘5 star’ last lost a professional MMA fight back in 2018 against Rodrigo Praia. Jones has a professional MMA record of (13-6-0) and would look to improve that when he steps into the Octagon this weekend.

Both Lawrence and Jones have not yet suffered a defeat in the UFC. Therefore, both fighters will hope to keep their UFC undefeated record and winning streak intact.

Coming into this fight, both fighters have similar temperaments and are of similar age. Add to the fact that both fighters have almost similar height and reach, with Lawrence getting the slightest of advantage in both, and one can see why this fight excites many fans.

However, Lawrence will clearly be the moderate favorite as he is a more well-rounded athlete. ‘The Heat’ will look to dominate his opponent on the ground and has enough talent to hold his own when on his feet. Jones on the other hand will be looking to get a knockout early on, however, if that does not happen, we should expect Lawrence to win the fight.
