UFC Fight Night: Jung vs Ige will see a light-heavyweight match-up between Alexa Camur and Nicolae Negumereanu go down in the preliminary card of the contest. Both fighters, relatively new in their UFC careers, are coming off defeats in their last fights.
The 25-year-old, Camur, lost a decision to William Knight at UFC 253. The former Dana White’s Contender Series participant claimed a decision against Justin Ledet at UFC 246. He will make his third walk to the Octagon when he faces Negumereanu this weekend.

The Romanian, ‘Nick’ is a year older than his opponent. This will only be his second appearance inside the Octagon. He last fought in 2019, making his UFC debut against Saparbek Safarov. Unfortunately, he lost his undefeated record in that fight, dropping a decision.

Camur has a professional record of 6-1. He has 5 finishes under his belt with all of them coming by T/KO. As for Negumereanu, his record stands at 9-1. ‘Nick’ has finished all of his wins in his professional career so far. 6 T/KO and 3 submission wins rack up those numbers for him.

Neither fighter has too much experience under their belt. However, one might argue that the level of Camur’s opponents is way higher than those of ‘Nick‘s. Negumereanu faced opponents with very poor records on his way to the UFC.
As for Camur, he has faced some good opponents right from his amateur days, Also, his win over Justin Ledet shows his quality as a UFC contender. So despite his loss against William Knight, he is still a good enough fighter to be on the UFC roster.

Also, Camur is a bit more technical as a fighter than his opponent. He should be able to get off to a strong start and maintain superiority throughout the contest. Camur might just edge the Romanian over 3 rounds to eventually earn a comfortable unanimous decision in his favor.
