As for the 25-year-old Brazilian, Procopio, this will be her third fight inside the UFC Octagon. After dropping a split decision to Karol Rosa in her promotional debut in 2019, Procopio earned her first UFC win against Molly McCann in February. Yet another win this weekend will solidify her status as a serious contender in the flyweight division of the UFC.

‘King’ has a professional record of 6-0 with 3 finishes (2 T/KO and 1 submission) under her belt. Procopio holds a record of 7-1 with an identical finishing tally to O’Neill.

Casey O’Neill vs Lara Procopio: Analysis

‘King’ is a very technical fighter, especially when the fight hits the floor. She has good transitions in the grappling exchanges as well. So, she is a slight favorite on the grappling side. Also, the Aussie’s undefeated status should provide her a confidence boost ahead of the fight.

Procopio managed to get some significant ground control time over her opponent in her last fight. Despite that, she didn’t inflict much damage, even from the top position.

So, O’Neill might just be better than Procopio in the overall fight and especially dominate the grappling exchanges with her slick movements. O’Neill might just get a decision in her favor and continue her undefeated record as a professional.

Final Prediction: Casey ‘King‘ O’Neill by unanimous decision.
