UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Gane has lost yet another fight as the women’s strawweight bout between Angela Hill and Ashley Yoder had to be called off because of COVID protocols. Hill and Yoder were set for a rematch in the UFC Apex event, but will scrap at a later date.

Hill has previously defeated Yoder in 2017 by unanimous decision, and the latter was looking to get a return win. Unfortunately, her quest will have to be put on the back burner for a fortnight.

The UFC has moved the duo to the Edwards vs Muhammad event on March 13. As a result of the cancelation, tonight’s Fight Night card will have just 9 fights. Earlier this week, the UFC also canceled a proposed welterweight bout between Alex Oliveira and Ramzan Kuramagomedov after the latter was ill and deemed medically unfit to compete.

The sparse card has nine fights as of now, and fans will hope that no more bouts meet the scrapheap as last week saw a fight get canceled after one fighter had made the walk to the cage.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane will headline the card in an exciting heavyweight battle. A light-heavyweight co-main event between Nikita Krylov and Magomed Ankalaev is expected to produce fireworks too.

A bantamweight contest between Pedro Munhoz and Jimmie Rivera is an eye-catching one for the fans. Also, the featured prelims fight between Alexander Hernandez and Thiago Moises is an important one in the light-heavyweight division.

Angela Hill Vs Ashley Yoder 2: Who takes the rematch?

‘Overkill’ Hill knows the recipe for victory. Hence, she will look to show the world that the sudden delay hasn’t affected her a bit. However, ‘The Spider Monkey’ is also aware of Hill’s game now and will make suitable adjustments when they share the Octagon this time.

The first fight was mostly Hill’s striking volume and Yoder’s grappling abilities. The fighters put their skills on display in the best possible manner and will desperately want to beat the other as they seek to chart a path to Zhang Weili’s 115-pound belt.
