Where does a win over Nina Nunes take Mackenzie Dern?

Since joining the UFC in 2018, Dern has picked up six wins in the promotion to go with one defeat. Her loss against Amanda Ribas is the only setback of her professional career following which the submission wizard has gone on a four-fight winning streak.

On the back of her stellar run, she should get an opponent from the top five. This means the UFC may book her against the likes of Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Carla Esparza, or Yan Xiaonan. What’s sure, though, is that she will see her a massive leap from the current slot as the #11 ranked strawweight.
