UFC Fighter Asks $500M-Worth Boss Dana White to Pay for His Mother’s Treatment Ahead of Christmas

Dana White recently blessed ten fighters with a bonus of $50,000 dollars after UFC 282. Although many fighters regretted not fighting in the recent UFC events, seemingly no one had a greater regret than Philip Rowe. The winner of the UFC Fight Night in Orlando revealed his mother’s condition during the post-fight interview. However, his desperation rose a step higher as the fighter requested the UFC president for a Christmas bonus.

Philip Rowe displayed spectacular skills with three consecutive wins by knockout under his name. However, the fighter’s worries are not spent on the fights, but on his mother. Furthermore, his replies to Daniel Cormier in the post-fight interview didn’t fail to touch the UFC world’s emotional side.

Philip Rowe asks Dana White for financial help

Philip Rowe’s win over Niko Price with a technical knockout at UFC Fight Night at his home ground, Orlando. However, the post-fight revelations about his mother’s condition caught the audience’s hearts. He revealed that his mother was suffering from cancer, and the win was, in fact, for her sake.

But recently, ‘The Fresh Prince’ seemed to regret not being able to fight in UFC 282. He took to Twitter to make a request to Dana White for a Christmas bonus, for his mother’s treatment. The fighter wrote, “@danawhite @ufc I know I missed out on the bonus but three KO’s in a row? Bless ya boy with little bonus for Christmas… I need to pay for these treatments for my mother.”

After defeating the 33-year-old Niko Price, Daniel Cormier asked Rowe about his secret of giving amazing finishes. However, the reply piqued the emotions of everyone who heard it. ‘The Fresh Prince’ said, “DC, my mother, her name is Christine Rowe. She is battling two forms of cancer at one time. She goes to chemo with a smile. These guys got nothing for me in here. If my mom could do what she do, ain’t nobody stopping me in here.”

Later, during the post-fight press conference, the fighter provided a little more details about his mother’s condition. She suffers from multiple myeloma and breast cancer. Furthermore, Rowe disclosed that his current focus was definitely his mother’s treatment. He said that he didn’t care about the fight game, since his worries are reserved for his mother.
