UFC Fighter Brendan Allen’s Decision to Call Out Dana White Divides Opinion as Fighter Pay Saga Rumbles On

Dana White, the UFC President, has been facing backlash from all around the combat sports world. From Jake Paul to Eddie Hearn to the UFC HW champion; Everybody is highlighting the UFC fighter pay issue.
Now another fighter has tweeted for more money.

UFC MW Brendan Allen has demanded a post-fight performance bonus from Dana White.

After the event, UFC announced performance bonuses for Shavkat Rakhmonov, Chidi Njokuani. Whereas, Julian Erosa and Steven Peterson won the ‘Fight of the Night’ but Peterson was not eligible for the bonus, so Erosa banked $100K as the bonus.

Earlier, Allen got the second-round submission win over Sam Alvey at UFC Vegas 47. Also, Allen took the fight on 3 days’ notice.

Fans reacted to Brendan Allen’s tweet to Dana White

Asking UFC for a bonus on social media platforms seems easy. Though it comes with a consequence as fans jump in and put their say in the comments.

Interestingly, many fans believe Allen does not deserve a bonus and UFC gave the right bonuses.

Though many think Allen deserves the bonus and came to support Brendan Allen.

One fan suggested, “Uncle Dana won’t even give away free boxes of trading cards like he said he would let alone giving 50k simply for showing up on short notice. It’s sad but the company cares about fighters as much as they do fans ZERO.”

“Lol fair point. Pay the man,” said one fan.
