As per the videos he uploads on his social media, one can guess that McGregor has recovered and is now eyeing for a comeback. However, an opponent is yet to be revealed. According to a recent survey, a lightweight star is leading the race to compete against The Notorious on his return.
OddsChecker.com compiled a list of five fighters in the running to face Conor McGregor. Leading this race is in-form Michael Chandler. On the list, there is also the name of Conor McGregor’s arch-rival.

After his win at UFC 274, Michael Chandler made his intentions to fight Conor McGregor clear. ‘Iron’, who scored a devastating front kick knockout over Tony Ferguson, is willing to move up to welterweight to secure this fight. According to the odds, Chandler has a 40 percent chance of being McGregor’s next opponent.
Charles Oliveira (+200) (33.33%)
Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira is next in line to be a potential opponent for Conor McGregor. The ESPY Fighter of the year has put up impeccable performances against the likes of Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier. After his win against Justin Gaethje, Oliveira expressed his desire to compete against McGregor.
The list further comprises some big names in the UFC. Along with McGregor’s arch-rival, there is also a current UFC champion in the running to be McGregor’s opponent on his comeback.
