A look at Edgar’s Hall of Fame career

Frankie Edgar was certainly not the most physically imposing fighter. He was fighting at a time when 155 lbs was the UFC’s lightest weight class. Mostly coming into a fight as an underdog, Edgar captured the lightweight title after a unanimous decision win over B.J. Penn at UFC 112. Furthermore, ‘The Answer’ would go on to successfully defend his title on three occasions.

Not only that, but he also challenged for the championship in the featherweight division. By the end of his career, Edgar amassed a record of 24 wins, 11 losses, and 1 draw.
