Michael Bisping revealed on his YouTube channel the level of fame that ‘Do Bronx’ has achieved. The UFC commentator spoke highly of the former lightweight champion.

He said, “Everyone does love Charles Oliveira. My word, there was footage of him in Brazil at the weekend being swarmed It was like Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley or Jake Paul. Walking through with people just swarming him like crazy at the fact he didn’t have security was mind-blowing he’s so popular right now.”

Furthermore, he continued, “But to get a title fight he needs a good win. Because he was beaten soundly in that fight. If it was a razor close back and forth battle then fair enough maybe an instant rematch. But Islam Makhachev dominated him and we do sometimes have a bad night at the office I’ve been there myself.” The impressive Jiu-Jitsu athlete couldn’t perform in that match and ended up tapping out.

The UFC commentator said on his podcast, “So he needs a big win and Beneil Dariush is perfect.” The former UFC middleweight champion expects Oliveira to make a comeback against Beneil Dariush.

Bisping added, “Perfect for both men. Beniel wins he gets a big signature victory and gets to fight for the win. If Charles wins, guess what we are back in style and he is fighting for that belt again.”
