In an earlier tweet, he further added, “Throwing up early morning 7:45, fight was 2 pm.” ‘The Punisher’ entered the octagon in poor health but seems like this has not stopped Mokaev from punishing Perez in the arena.

Mokaev calls out Alexandre Pantoja

Muhammad Mokaev is 23, and he has the potential as well as the opportunity to become one of the youngest champs in UFC history if he defeats Alexandre Pantoja. ‘The Punisher’s victory against Alex Perez has extended his winning streak to an astounding 12 straight wins in his career and this seems to be tempting enough for the UFC to throw a title shot at the English fighter.

After his victory against Perez, Mokaev took the mic to call out Dana White and Pantoja for giving him a chance at the flyweight belt. “I’m 6-0 in the UFC, four finishes. [UFC] 301, 10 weeks, I’m ready to fight for the belt,” said Mokaev. ‘The Punisher’ knew that a victory against Perez would drag him closer to the title and seems like he wasted no time in calling the obvious.

The 23-year-old might be strong but is he strong enough to stop Pantoja’s train? The Brazilian champion has defeated top contenders Brandon Moreno three times and Brandon Royval twice. Their matchup might be happening sooner or later, but one thing’s for sure, it would rewrite history. Nevertheless, MMA fans will be hopeful that the young contender is in peak condition for the match whenever it’s booked next.
