Despite previously claiming that he won’t interview fighters in the worst conditions, Rogan did it again at UFC 278 inside Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, yesterday. And fans held him accountable for his actions again.

UFC 278 saw the former champion Jose Aldo face defeat against Georgian fighter Merab Dvalishvili on the main card. Right after the fight, both the combatants were on their knees and were having a small exchange of words as a sign of respect.

However, during their talks, the veteran UFC commentator couldn’t stop himself from placing his mic between the faces of the fighters. Here’s how the fans reacted to this hilarious moment of Rogan.

Joe Rogan: Throwback to two of Rogan’s unusual interview moments

As aforementioned, the JRE podcast host is infamous for interviewing fighters under weird circumstances. One such example of this is when Rogan interviewed the former dual champion of UFC Conor McGregor

‘The Notorious’ suffered a gruesome leg break during his third fight with rival Dustin Poirier in 2021. McGregor was on the mat with his broken leg.

However, the veteran commentator didn’t hesitate and interviewed the Irish star. Interestingly, this moment gave birth to the famous ‘Your wife is in me DM’s’ line from the pay-per-view.

Fans saw a similar incident during the Sean O’Malley vs. Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 222 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Despite winning the bout, ‘Suga’ was flat on the mat because of an ankle injury.

But still, the 55-year-old managed to interview him on the floor. Although it might seem bizarre to many people, Rogan is just too hilarious to watch during such moments.
