The UFC isn’t just handing out championship belts these days; they’re also handing out once-in-a-lifetime experiences. In a move that combines Octagon intensity with Vegas nightlife, the UFC and $102 billion spirits giant Becle (parent company of Jose Cuervo) have launched a one-of-a-kind challenge that allows fans to train like fighters while partying like the headliners. Tracy Cortez, the rising flyweight star, is at the heart of the promotion, and her name surely adds a personal touch to an already stacked grand prize.

The Cuervo UFC Flyaway Contest, launched with the playful tagline “#EarnYourShot,” invites fans to submit innovative content showing their love for Cuervo and the UFC. The prize? A completely paid trip to Vegas for two, VIP access to a nightclub, and much more. If you’ve ever wanted to live the fighter lifestyle for a weekend, with a little tequila thrown in, this is your chance. Interested? Want to know the details? Well, fret not, as here is all you need to know to enter the contest and what awaits you.

How to enter and what’s in store for the fight fans

The contest is open from now until September 17, 2025. If you are 21 or older and live in the United States, you are eligible; just bring a good camera and some creativity. Entering is simple but specific: post a short video (10 seconds or less) or a picture of yourself enjoying Cuervo during a UFC fight, along with an explanation of why you deserve to win. (Maybe, start with a “Please.”)

That is it. Submit at www.Cuervo.com/OneShotWithTracy, or scan the QR codes on Cuervo or UFC’s social posts, press materials, or in-store. Remember, it is one entry per person. You can submit a photo or video, not both, so make it count. Judges want energy, personality, and a good reason for going to Vegas. (Again, you may start with a “Please” here as well.)

Entries will be evaluated based on how well they reflect the UFC-and-Cuervo vibe, creativity, and brand-appropriate fun. Keep it clean by adding no copyrighted music, politics, or anything that resembles a tequila commercial gone wrong. Beware! They are paying close attention.

The winners will be announced around September 18. Two grand prize winners will each receive a trip for two to Vegas, which includes round-trip airfare (or a $500 travel card if you live within 250 miles), a two-night hotel stay, and a training session at the UFC Performance Institute.

Afterward, you’ll get VIP access to a Cuervo-selected Vegas nightclub, where you’ll meet Tracy Cortez (or another UFC fighter if she’s not available). Each winner also receives a $200 gift card to help cover transport or food.

What’s your perspective on:

Is the Cuervo UFC Flyaway Contest the ultimate fan experience, or just another marketing gimmick?

The rules, the legal mumbo-jumbo, and the big picture

Obviously, this is not a free-for-all. You must be a legal US resident and at least 21 years old. A valid ID is necessary, and if you work for UFC, Proximo Spirits, or the contest organizer (Million Dollar Media), or are related to someone who does, you are ineligible. When you enter, you will be asked for your full name, contact information, date of birth, and state of residence.

Remember, and we repeat, REMEMBER, anything you submit becomes the sponsor’s property. They can use it in advertisements, promotions, or wherever they see fit. Even if it means using it to promote a Tony Ferguson fight if ‘El Cucuy’ decides to return after his 30th loss in 2040. Winners will be required to complete paperwork such as affidavits, press releases, and tax forms. You are also liable for other charges such as meals, luggage fees, tips, COVID tests, and travel documents.

If you or your guest misbehaves, the sponsor may cancel the trip. So, play it cool. It is true that the Cuervo UFC Flyaway isn’t just a one-off; it’s part of a year-long campaign. Cuervo has been awarding weekly UFC-themed prizes since January 15, 2025, with one big winner every quarter. But the Vegas experience with Tracy Cortez is the crown jewel.

Cuervo has been the UFC’s official tequila partner since 2021, collaborating on promotions such as “Cuervo in Your Corner” and creating fighter-led content to keep fans interested. This flyaway builds on that connection, combining Cuervo’s party feel with UFC’s grit and providing fans an actual chance to transition from spectators to participants.
