Both the UFC welterweight combatants Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal took their beef inside the UFC cage at UFC 272 on 5th March, where ‘Chaos’ secured a unanimous decision victory over Masvidal. However, their beef didn’t seem to end there. A few weeks after their fight, ‘Gamebred’ allegedly attacked Covington outside a Miami restaurant.

After this incident, the UFC community was divided into two sides. Some justified Masvidal’s action by bashing Covington for bringing the latter’s family into his trash talks, while others slammed Masvidal for the attack.

Meanwhile, the UFC lightweight Bobby Green slammed both the fighters for the incident. While discussing the brawl with Rogan, Green stated that Covington should be ready for such things if he uses heavy trash talks before his fights.

However, Rogan asked ‘King’ with a serious face if it was good for the professional fighters to get into a brawl outside the cage. To which Green responded by saying,I agree, but hold on a second. If you gonna be, professional, keep it professional. If you wanna go low, then it’s going low, and it’s up. It’s up on site. It is what it is”

“I don’t think Jorge should have done that, though. I don’t agree with it at all. You know, like you had 25 minutes brother to do anything you needed to do, it was that time. Now you wanna get him out, you had your time… I don’t agree, but at the same time; I don’t agree with Colby either. You wanna play that role stand on it.” – Green concluded.

He said, “That’s what happened in the fight. If you want to fight someone, and you fight someone, and you lose, I feel like, at a certain point in time, you gotta accept what happened.

After the attack, Covington pressed charges against Masvidal. Consequently, the latter was arrested by the Miami Beach police. However, according to Rogan, the incident shouldn’t have happened and Masvidal should have accepted his defeat at UFC 272.
