On November 12, 2016, Pimblett defended his featherweight title against Julian Erosa in Cage Warriors, MMA. The bout witnessed a spectacular exchange of strikes and takedowns.

Erosa landed a flying knee to the Pimblett’s face, hoping for a knockdown. However,’ The Baddy’ eventually won the fight via unanimous decision. Following the fight, Pimblett vomited blood inside the Octagon during the Post Fight Interview.

Later, ‘Baddy’ took to Instagram to talk about the incident and thank his fans for their wishes.

“I’d like to thank everyone for all the kind messages asking about my health. I didn’t spew blood. It was hot chocolate and Ferraro Roche I’d consumed,” the fighter wrote on Instagram. “Even on my worst day, I got the job done. It’s that simple!,” Seeing some very uneducated fans chat sh*t is just embarrassing. Can’t do wrong from doing right in this sport, no matter what, I’m a c**t.

While Pimblett won that fight, he finally lost his featherweight title to Nad Narimani via a unanimous decision at Cage Warriors 82. He then moved to the lightweight division, experiencing fierce wins and losses. His last bout marked his win over David Martinez at Cage warriors 122 via first-round rear-naked choke. Then he left Cage Warriors and made his debut in UFC.

The Liverpool fighter had a furious debut in UFC, as he secured first-round wins in his first two fights.

Following such an impressive debut, Pimblett’s debut gained the attention of UFC’s top stars, including the highest-paid UFC star Conor McGregor.

‘The Baddy made his UFC debut in 2021 at UFC Fight Night 191 against Luigi Vendramini.

Vendramini delivered a left hook to Pimblett’s chin early in the fight, opening the door for a knockout. Pimblett, though, retaliated with a right uppercut and a barrage of blows, piercing his guard and winning by a knockout in the first round.

Pimblett’s second UFC bout came against Rodrigo Vargas at the O2 Arena in London. The bout witnessed the judo skill of the Liverpool fighter. He ended up winning the fight in the first round by hip tossing Rodrigo Vargas and using a rear-naked choke, forcing ‘Kazula’ to tap out.

Now, the Liverpool player wants a renegotiation in his contract with UFC, as he believes he’s paid less for his performance.
