UFC is the highest paying MMA promotion in the world, yet fighting alone will not make a fighter rich. UFC president Dana White talked about one such personality in the post-fight press conference, who has capitalized on her brand not just as a fighter but as a businesswoman. White said, “Probably one of the most successful brands too is Ronda Rousey.
“I was just with her a few days ago over at the Apex. I mean, this girl owns more houses than I don’t know. Bought a house in Hawaii and she is starting a new business. And she is doing this, and she is doing that she’s got a new tv show.”
Fighting in the UFC can make a person famous, but how the individuals use that popularity is entirely up to them. Many rich and famous athletes like Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov have a lot of businesses that are running in the background. They use their fame and put it at work to make a fortune out of it.

Dana White continued, “I think she has done really a great job of capitalizing on all the money she has made. And is continuing on making tons of money outside the octagon.”
Ronda Rousey is a brilliant businesswoman
Ronda Rousey gained her popularity after she entered the UFC roster to become the first-ever UFC women’s champion. She became a worldwide sensation and a symbol of women empowerment after headlining back-to-back UFC PPVs. Rousey didn’t stop there and entered the wrestling promotion WWE for a multimillion-dollar deal.

She has had endorsement deals with Reebok, Carls Jr, Metro PCS, Monster headphones, and Max Effort Muscle. To top all this, she also played a part in Hollywood blockbusters like Fast and Furious 7, The Expendables 3, etc.
