The Czech Republic native secured a stunning knockout win in his UFC debut against Volkan Oezdemir. The latter is a former title challenger and is in the top-10 of the division. Prochazka, in his second UFC fight, knocked out yet another former title challenger Dominick Reyes. Both of his wins earned him two ‘Performance Of The Night’ and one ‘Fight Of The Night’ bonuses.

Interestingly, Jiri Prochazka’s two wins were enough for UFC to give him a shot at the title next. However, the 29-year-old is waiting for the dates to be confirmed, according to sports journalist Robert Rampa.

Rampa recently tweeted, “Jiri Prochazka right now: ‘UFC negotiate with @gloverteixeira now, we are ready and only asking about the date. My hands are already itching. I’m also glad the Blachowicz-Rakic fight will happen. Backup win for @JanBlachowicz.'”

However, this was not the only news about the Czech Republican that Rampa shared. He also provided an update about Prochazka’s training camp for his upcoming and first-ever title fight in UFC.

Jiri Prochazka will train with Henry Cejudo

‘Denisa’ is one of the most vicious knockout artists in MMA. With a professional fighting record of 28-3, the 29-year-old has twenty-five knockout wins and two submission wins under his name.

Although the light heavyweight fighter has a complete skill set, he will still hone his wrestling with the Olympic gold medalist and former UFC two-division champion Henry Cejudo.
