The UFC CEO, Dana White has finally announced the long-awaited announcement for the UFC 300 main event. As promised, the historic event features one of the most popular fighters in the newly crowned light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira.

Pereira will be taking on the former light heavyweight king, Jamahal Hill. Hill will finally get the chance to reclaim the title which he has never lost. However, Pereira doesn’t seem even a little worried, given his recent Instagram story.

Despite of Alex Pereira’s cold and stone-faced demeanor at first glance, the UFC two-division champion has shown that he has a humours side to him. From posting hilarious reels to shadow boxing videos to even collaborating with social media influencers, the Brazilian is making quite a favorable impression with the fans.

However, despite his fun demeanor, Poatan is still one of the most dangerous fighters in the world. In just two years in the UFC, Pereira managed to secure two championships in two different divisions. On his path to winning gold, he laid waste to 4 former and future champions of the promotion.

Pereira, as the headliner for the historic event was being announced, was posting videos of him with wild animals in his Instagram Stories from “albuqaish.jungle”. Poatan was petting and walking with animals in the animal shelter.

The Brazilian is living the life of a champion. However, there was another champion who earned the respect of the UFC CEO for living the lifestyle of a fighting champion.

Dana White has massive praise for Leon Edwards

It was no secret that the UFC was having trouble finding the perfect matchup for the UFC 300 main event. During the search for a proper headliner, Dana White revealed that he approached the welterweight champion Leon Edwards with a couple of fights. And “Rocky’s” response seemed to impress the UFC CEO.

White praised the welterweight champion, saying, “Let me say this, Leon Edward has had like three opponents throughout this thing. Leon Edwards doesn’t say no to anybody. This kid is an absolute stud. He’s had like there I thrown at him during UFC 300. Was willing to take on anybody. Kid’s an absolute stud.”
