Dana White took to his Instagram handle to share the news, “Well, Joilton Lutterbach is out, and this fight has been replaced three times. Antonio Trócoli makes his UFC debut on three days’ notice. He’s got 12 wins: 3 by knockout and 5 by submission and is currently riding a three-fight win streak. Trócoli has a massive reach advantage. This should be a fun fight!” said White.

Both Shara Magomedov and Antonio Trócoli have won 12 fights in their career. This match might be a clash between a striker and a BJJ specialist as most of Trócoli’s victory came by way of submission while on the other hand, most of Magomedov’s victory came by way of knockouts. Regardless, the last-minute change got a fiery response from the MMA community.

Fans react as Dana White had to change another fighter in UFC Saudi Arabia

Following the pullout, Joilton Lutterbach took to his social media handle to announce that the reason why he pulled out of the clash was that the doping commission found some substance in his urine samples. Dana White had to restructure the entire June just to save his and the promotion’s nose. Regardless, let’s look at what the MMA fans are up to.

June had some of the most anticipated fights of the promotion, however, things changed pretty quickly as multiple fighters pulled out and left Dana White in dilemma. The UFC has saved the cards but will they manage to pull in the same numbers now?

“June was gonna be the month of bangers, but ended up being the month of pullouts.”

A fan seems to have the notion that this card is cursed. In total 4 fights have been sabotaged by now. Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler, Khamzat Chimaev vs. Robert Whittaker, Jamahal Hill vs. Carlos Ulberg, and now Shara Magomedov and Joilton Lutterbach.

Fighting on three days’ notice is a huge task in itself. However, fighting against an undefeated Muay Thai specialist on three days’ notice is absolute madness.

“Three days notice? Good luck to that guy”

Conor Mcgregor is arguably the biggest star the promotion has ever produced and his hiatus has badly affected the UFC. Regardless, his comeback was supposed to pull in the stardom for the promotion one last time but it never happened.

“Haha without mcgregor ufc is finished”

Furthermore, a social media user seems to have a solution for the promotion.

“Everyone who pulls out should be fined if they don’t have a doc excuse”

Last but not the least, another fan seems to be awestruck by Antonio Trócoli’s perseverance to clash against “Shara Bullet” on three-day notice. It must be noted that Trócoli was supposed to fight Ikram Aliskerov at this past Saturday’s UFC Vegas 93 event.

“3 days notice?? Dayum”

Dana White might have saved the card but next time he will have to pull in such fights in which fighters don’t pull out. Regardless, what’s your take on the entire situation? State your opinion in the comments below.
