Joe Rogan has dropped a massive update for fans who were disappointed with his absence from UFC 297! The color commentator and host of the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience Podcast) is an iconic part of major UFC events for many fans. However, in recent times, Rogan has stepped away from the commentary booth for cards held outside the US.

As such, when it was revealed that Dominick Cruz would be stepping in to replace him for the commentary team at UFC 297, the fans were left disappointed with the turn of events. However, Rogan has recently released a statement online that should provide some comfort for fans who were eagerly expecting his voice as a background to the first UFC PPV of the year!

However, for the upcoming UFC 297 card in Toronto, it was revealed that Rogan will not be joining the broadcast booth for the event. Fans were quick to highlight their disappointment with the news with many even campaigning for Laura Sanko, who made her commentary debut at UFC 293 last year, to replace Rogan instead of Cruz!

But in a recent update on social media, Rogan has let the fans know that he will still be providing his valuable insights for the event but from the comfort of his own podcast studio!

In a post on his official Twitter/X account, Rogan revealed, “Tomorrow night! Live on http://youtube.com/powerfuljre @ufc Fight Companion with guest appearance by Joey Diaz! @madflavor @EddieBravo @brendanschaub Live during the main card on pay per view!

The addition of JRE regulars like comedian Joey Diaz, BJJ expert Eddie Bravo and former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub has provided the fans with another level of excitement for the ‘Fight Companion’ episode of the JRE!

South African fighter Dricus Du Plessis recently expressed his thoughts on the commentary lineup for UFC 297. Notably, Joe Rogan will be absent, and instead, Dominick Cruz will join Daniel Cormier for the event in Toronto.
