That said, during his time in the UFC, with 13 wins in the UFC and 0 losses, Nurmagomedov was one of Dana White’s most prized fighters.

Nurmagomedov’s relationship with the UFC and Dana White was as good as ever when he retired. This was evident after a recent video of the Head Honcho watching an animated video of Khabib Nurmagomedov and his father. White’s reaction got the attention of one of “The Eagle’s” teammates which got a heartfelt reaction.

Khabib Nurmagomedov took on Justin Gaethje back in UFC 254. What was different for “The Eagle” coming into the fight was that for the first time in his career, his father wasn’t around to watch the dominant Dagestani fight, as he had passed away from COVID-19 during the pandemic. During the lead-up to the event, White was shown an animated video of the journey of Nurmagomedov and White, which ended with the 56-year-old getting emotional.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz meanwhile has written a heartfelt message to UFC CEO. In the comments, he wrote, “Love Dana”. The UFC has always had good business with “The Eagle” of Dagestan and White still has immense love for Nurmagomedov’s team.

UFC CEO praises Team Nurmagomedov

During a recent podcast episode of Games With Names, the UFC CEO made a guest appearance and his words showed that he had nothing but respect for Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team. When talking about the Russian team, he explained why they are some of the most dangerous people on the planet.

During the podcast episode, he said, “You know, we talk about, you know, Khabib’s crew could come in here and probably wipe out half this country on their own. These dudes are so tough and nasty and come from such a tough upbringing. Like, fucking men. Yeah, you talk about men. These dudes are like nasty dudes.”
