

The recent UFC Vegas 85 event saw the rankings list witness a change for the first time in 2024. Now, we have updates on Nassourdine Imavov, Renato Moicano, Natalia Silva, and Drew Dober. While it was a jump for some of the fighters from the recent event, others remained in the same spot.
The fans witnessed the crowning of a couple of new champions in 2024 at UFC 297. Now, things have shaken up with the rankings as well. Let us take a look at the changes that took place as per the latest updates.

Nassourdine Imavov and Natalia Silva rise in the ranks
Nassourdine Imavov recently registered a statement win over Roman Dolidze. He out-stuck the Georgian fighter to score a majority decision win at UFC Vegas 85. Moreover, that victory seemed to have impacted his place in the middleweight rankings. Imavov climbed three places up from the eleventh position to the eighth position, surpassing Khamzat Chimaev. Meanwhile, Dolidze went down by two positions, from the eighth to the tenth position. Furthermore, Jack Hermansson also dropped down from the tenth position to the eleventh position.

On the other hand, Natalia Silva, who defeated Viviane Araujo last weekend, jumped two places up in the flyweight rankings. She shifted from the ninth position to the seventh position.

Meanwhile, Araujo’s defeat brought her two places down to the ninth position. In addition to that, Jasmine Jasudavicius climbed up to the fourteenth position, while Andrea Lee dropped down to the fifteenth place. Now let us take a look at those fighters whose rankings remained unchanged.
Renato Moicano and Drew Dober stay put in their positions
Renato Moicano won a hard-fought battle against Drew Dober last weekend. However, that did not seem to affect his position in the rankings. Dober has also found himself in a similar position. While Moicano remained in the thirteenth position, the Omaha native also remained in his 15th position.

The Brazilian later proceeded to call out Paddy Pimblett. Hence, it remains to be seen if that fight happens and affects Moicano’s position in the rankings. Meanwhile, in another interesting update, Dustin Poirier‘s UFC 299 opponent Benoit Saint-Denis dropped one place below to the twelfth position, while Rafael Dos Anjos took the eleventh spot.
