Amanda Nunes’s comeback possibly at UFC 306

UFC 289 was undoubtedly an exciting event for MMA fans. The main card featured Amanda Nunes showcasing her electrifying determination, emerging victorious against Irene Aldana in a woman’s bantamweight fight. This dominant performance marked a fitting end to her illustrious career, as Amanda Nunes announced her retirement after the bout. Those glory days are probably coming back for one last time.

In a fresh interview on the podcast “Club Shay Shay” with former American football player Shannon Sharpe, Dana White discussed the aspirations of rising fighters compared to veterans like Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor. The conversation then turned to Amanda Nunes’ potential return.

White acknowledged the possibility, saying, “ She could come back, there’s a possibility she could come back. Um, but again, a very unique individual in her own right, you know, a very powerful woman who is looked at as the GOAT in female fighting.”

Dana White also praised Amanda Nunes for being a strong mother. However, Nunes’ return is still uncertain. There’s no confirmation yet on whether she’ll be on the Las Vegas or another card, but it’s shaping up to be a blockbuster. Significantly, White has already invested $16 million into the event, so he’s definitely looking to make it a profitable night for the UFC, and Amanda Nunes could be the key.

Dana White is going all out for UFC 306, throwing a whopping $16 million at the event held at the new Las Vegas Sphere. This guarantees a fight night unlike any other, set for September 14th. The Sphere boats wrap around LED screens and incredible sound, making White confident it’ll be an unforgettable experience.

In his recent interview with Shannon Sharpe, Dana White hyped up UFC 306 as a unique experience, especially for Mexican fighters. He said everyone’s clamoring to be on the card, and for good reason. “And I’m already $16 million into this thing.” White declared.

This will never be done again. This will never be replicated. Anybody who comes in after me at the sphere is f*ked, f*ked” Sharpen then pressed him about their fight card, and White admitted he’s still finalizing it.
