Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s legacy in the MMA world is undoubtedly one of the greatest. His retirement sent shockwaves through the entire community. Remaining undefeated and retiring with an unblemished record is a dream many aspire to, but the Dagestani fighter made it a reality. Khabib Nurmagomedov gracefully exited the spotlight at the pinnacle of his career. The untimely passing of his father served as the catalyst for his retirement. Since relinquishing his title as the former lightweight champion, Khabib has distanced himself from the MMA realm. Nevertheless, a flicker of optimism regarding his potential return occasionally emerges, often fueled by the efforts of his manager Ali Abdelaziz.

In his most recent escapade, Ali Abdelaziz added a tweet on his X( formerly Twitter) handle and this has caused a storm among the MMA community. The tweet somehow gave a mysterious hint of ‘Eagle’s return back to the MMA. Abdelaziz writes “If a fantasy @TeamKhabib Come back 1- April become the 185 lb champion 2- July become 205 lb Champion 3- December become 170lb Champion Vs Alex PereiraIsrael, Adesanya[Leon] Edward I truly believe this statistically bad nightmare for all these guys”

Abdelaziz threw down a bold challenge to some of the UFC’s top fighters recently. Despite the intriguing statement, it’s unclear from the tweet whether Nurmagomedov has any plans to return to MMA soon.

He previously mentioned stepping away from the sport to spend quality time with his family, making it uncertain if he’ll make a comeback anytime soon. Additionally, the former lightweight champion rejected $40 million to return to the world of MMA.

‘The Eagle’ rejected a $40 million offer

UFC 300 is in the making and Dana White is searching for a mind-blowing fight for the main event. The UFC head honcho is trying his level best to chip in the old stars of the UFC for a legacy fight but it seems like he has achieved nothing as of now. Insiders revealed that among the legacy fights, White had plans to bring Khabib Nurmagomedov out of retirement by offering him a lot of money.

Daniel Cormier revealed on his YouTube handle that Dana White offered a massive $40 million to ‘Eagle’ to headline the UFC 300. “They offered $40 million Khabib for returning to the UFC” Replying to Cormier and White, Numragomedov had one thing to say “I hope someday these conversations will stop.”
