UFC star adds fuel to Dana White’s words about her return
During the UFC CEO’s appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s talk show, ‘Club Shay Shay’, White revealed that Nunes might just be on the cards scheduled for UFC 306. The event is, without a doubt, going to be one packed with Mexican mixed martial artists. After all, it falls on the day of Mexican Independence Day. And who better to bring back if not the former champion, Amanda Nunes?
White, during the conversation with the former football player, had said, “She could come back, there’s a possibility she could come back. Um, but again, a very unique individual in her own right, you know, a very powerful woman who is looked at as the GOAT in female fighting.” However, there was no confirmation to the UFC CEO’s words later on, and the fighting community began to speculate if they would really get to watch Nunes back in action.

Amanda Nunes hints at returning to fight Kayla Harrison
Back when UFC 300 had the fight fans glued to their seats, Nunes dropped a giant hint on X. At the UFC’s greatly successful event, Kayla Harrison rose victorious over Holly Holm. Without a doubt, the former PFL star took over the fanbase with her phenomenal win. However, it was Nunes’ reaction that garnered more attention.
The former featherweight and bantamweight champion released a video of her reacting to Harrison’s post-fight interview. It did seem like the Brazilian, even though retired in 2023, planned on making a comeback just to fight Harrison. Nunes last fought Irene Aldana back in June 2023. Despite Aldana’s struggles, it was ‘The Lioness’ who clinched the victory via unanimous decision. After being out of action since then, a sign of her return was just the things that boosted the fans’ entropy.
