The 32-year-old Russian fighter revealed a few months back that during his time away from UFC, Dana White and his promotion approached him to come back. Zabit Magomedsharipov even revealed that this time, the UFC was willing to hand him the title shot that he believes should have been given to him a long time ago. But that did not happen since Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski battled for the title on multiple occasions.

Even though there was a title fight on the horizon, Magomedsharipov decided to turn down the offer. Months after revealing that story, the Russian ace recently shared a post on Instagram, with the caption: “Under Control”. This message supposedly spurred the rumors of him, probably considering a return after announcing his retirement back in 2022. As such, many fans expressed themselves on Magomedsharipov’s Instagram post, mentioning how they feel about his return. Let’s have a look at that front.
