The color commentator of the UFC Joe Rogan is hugely popular due to his multi-directional works. The 55 years old also hosts his own podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Owing to Rogan’s fame and conversation skills, ‘JRE’ has gone on to bag the supreme spot in the ‘Top Podcasts’ list on Spotify. Rogan also is an avid social media user. He often uses his social media handles to post stuff about comedy and much more.

Recently, one of his posts sparked a huge controversy as he was challenged for a debate by one of the UFC fighters, Bryce Mitchell. Rogan’s Instagram post, which displayed a scientist talking about the universe with a sign of the “Devil’s Trident” evidently enraged Mitchell. He went on to challenge Rogan, who often made fun of the people who thought the earth was flat. Mitchell also found the support of the noted Middleweight, Paulo Costa.

Paulo Costa backed Mitchell but didn’t want him to debate Joe Rogan

Mitchell used Twitter to reply to Rogan’s post. He uploaded a video explaining how this earth is flat”. Fellow fighter and ‘flat-earth’ believer, Paulo Costa urged Mitchell not to debate these issues.

He also shared Mitchell’s post on his own Twitter handle and captioned it, “Don’t discuss with them champ. We’re right!”.

It was apparent from his comment that although Costa also believed that the Earth was flat. But he wasn’t accepting of Mitchell taking this topic to a debate. Costa maintained a dignified way of putting up his views.

Bryce Mitchell wanted a war of words with Rogan

Bryce Mitchell was too bitter about Joe Rogan’s Instagram post. He started off by saying, “Me and my mama will tell you right now, this earth is flat. It ain’t moving around at six hundred or something miles an hour spinning a thousand miles an hour and floating through the universe constantly, okay.

It definitely irritated him that Joe Rogan was, “making fun of flat-earthers” and saying that “God didn’t create the universe, the Big Bang did”. He also went on to describe how “Gravity ain’t real, it’s density”. Mitchell also demonstrated with the help of a paper how things “less dense” than air will go up and “denser” than air will stick to the ground or come down with time.

He was confident enough in his approach as he stated, “I bet you won’t accept this challenge” also saying that Rogan’s posted stuff is “leading people away from the holy spirit”. Mitchell also claimed that human beings had never “landed on the moon” and also labeled the noted astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, as a liar.

He further explained, why the stars Little Dipper and Big Dipper are always in the same position.” He said that “They’ve always been in” the same position, “coz the universe ain’t constantly expanding.”

However, Joe Rogan is yet to answer Mitchell’s tweet. But would you like to see this debate happen?
