Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has another interesting post dedicated to his former foe, Khabib Nurmagomedov. ‘El Cucuy’ and ‘The Eagle’ have a lot of history with each other.

The Pinnacle of the lightweight history will include two fighters from the same era. Though, unfortunately, they never fought each other. UFC President Dana White went on to book the fight five times. However, the potential greatest lightweight championship fight stayed a dream for the fight fans. Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov both are tied for the longest win-streak in UFC lightweight history with 12 wins each.

‘El Cucuy’ occasionally takes a dig at the former lightweight champion. However, this time he has posted a fun video taking aim at Nurmagomedov training with a bear in his childhood. He tweeted, “CSO#LookAnEagle Gets Em’ Every-time”

The video shows a person fighting with a bear-dressed person. The bear-dressed person looks very realistic and does some amazing tricks which actually resemble Ferguson’s style. The shuffle and spinning back kick are the highlight of the video, apart from the ending.

Tony Ferguson has an opponent with the same style as Khabib Nurmagomedov

‘El Cucuy‘ is on a three-fight losing skid. All three of his losses were decisive. ‘El Cucuy’ looked a shell of himself in these last three outings. However, Ferguson has not fought since May of last year. Thus, the break may help him rejuvenate, and it gave him enough time to work on his weaknesses. In addition, potentially, he has a great opponent across him.

Ferguson’s style matches up perfectly with Michael Chandler. With ‘El Cucuy’ known for his high volume, it would be a tough outing for the former Bellator lightweight champion. However, Chandler can make the fight look easy with his explosive wrestling. But he has to balance his energy while doing that. Getting tired in front of ‘El Cucuy’ is not a good move for any fighter.
