Venum mainly focuses on combat sports, and many fighters already had Venum as a sponsor. Reebok was not the same as it made clothes and accessories for various other sports and industries.

Dana White had earlier released a statement where he announced the upcoming deal with Venum.

“Everything in life is about timing, and this Venum deal couldn’t come at a more perfect time,” White said.

“This weird place we’re in right now, in the entire world, with sports and business and everything going on, these guys were the right people at the right time.”

There were plenty of issues going on between the UFC and Reebok, and the deal always seemed on the verge of ending. However, now in Venum, the promotion has a partner that understands clothing and Combat sports.
