Riyadh in itself is a massive arena now. From boxing to soccer, all sorts of stars assemble there no matter what sport is being displayed. So it only stands to reason that the people who overlook things wanted it to be more exciting. Perhaps, a spectatorship that’s filled with stars demands a bit more.

The same could be seen during the Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury super-fight. The PFL bout went down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and saw Ngannou shake up both, Fury and the boxing world in general. While a controversial loss led to Ngannou collecting his first defeat in his boxing debut, the match was still one of the best. And perhaps the next will be even bigger.

Ngannou took on Fury in Saudi Arabia and he’ll do the same against his next opponent, Anthony Joshua in a similar fashion. Recently, a bout between the two was teased and later on, confirmed by both parties involved. Joshua who had previously called a fight with Ngannou a “gimmick fight” is now forced to go and find out for himself.

The bout will go down on the 8th of March, so very close to the time Fight Night 238 was supposed to go down. Now, it looks like Dana White’s nemesis would get to grace a sporting arena before any of the UFC fighters. Would White be very happy about it? Probably not? Either way, he still has a massive card to figure out.
